Sino-Russian Mathematics Center was officially inaugurated at Peking University on June 29th, 2020.
Led by Peking University and Moscow State University, Sino-Russian Mathematics Center will rely on the "Double First-Class" Construction Alliance of Mathematics to organize and promote all-round cooperation and exchanges between mathematics departments of domestic universities and top mathematics institutions in Russia and even the world. The center is committed to improving the level of mathematical research and the quality of talent training between China and Russia, promoting the cooperation and communications of mathematicians around the world, and making important contributions to the development of mathematics and national progress.
According to the consensus of Peking University, Moscow State University and Sino-Russian brother universities, Academician Zhang Jiping, professor of School of Mathematical Sciences of Peking University and deputy director of Beijing International Center for Mathematical Research, was appointed as the director of Sino-Russian Mathematics Center.
