Fan Huijun, Deputy Director

Deputy Director of Sino-Russian Mathematics Center
Professor of Peking University

Born in November 1972, he is a young mathematician, a winner of National Outstanding Youth Fund, an expert enjoying special government subsidies, a professor of School of Mathematical Sciences of Peking University, a doctoral supervisor of the International Teaching Center of Peking University, and the director of the Department of Basic Mathematics of School of Mathematical Sciences of Peking University.

 

Graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 1991 with a bachelor's degree; In 1994, he graduated from Jilin University with a master's degree; In 1998, he graduated from Peking University with a doctorate; From 2003 to 2010, he served as a associate professor of School of Mathematical Sciences, Peking University; Since 2010, he has been a professor in the School of Mathematical Sciences of Peking University. He is now the deputy director of the Sino-Russian Mathematics Center.

 

His research interests are geometric analysis, symplectic geometry and mathematical physics related to quantum field theory and superstring theory.
