Administrative Measures for Academic Reports of Sino-Russian Mathematics Center

Sino-Russian Mathematics Center (SRMC) (hereinafter referred to as the center) is based on China and Russia, facing Europe and looking at the world. It is committed to promoting international cooperation in mathematics, especially between China and Russia, and improving the level of mathematics research and the quality of talent training. The center will play a window role in Sino-Russian cooperation and exchange, and vigorously support the cooperation bases to carry out academic exchanges with domestic and foreign scientists. In order to strengthen the standardized management of academic reports (especially online lectures, seminars and forums), the administrative measures for academic reports of the center are hereby formulated.

 

Funding Scope

The term "academic reports" as mentioned in these measures refers to academic reports, lectures, seminars and academic forums organized by experts and scholars. Academic reports should focus on major theoretical innovation of mathematics, serving national strategic needs, and promoting the construction of mathematical schools to select the themes and enrich the contents.

In the process of planning and organizing the academic reports of Sino-Russian Mathematics Center, the cooperation bases shall submit the academic report information in advance (usually one month) and report it to the center for unified registration and filing. For the specific format, please refer to 《Template for Releasing Academic Report Information of Sino-Russian Mathematics Center》 (Annex 1). The reporter shall be an excellent mathematician with certain influence, who can be invited from all over the world. The academic reports of Sino-Russian Mathematics Center can be held by the cooperation bases every week (month).

 

Funding Criteria

The academic reports registered by the center will be included in the management of "Academic Reports of Sino-Russian Mathematics Center" series. The center is responsible for paying the expert report fees. In principle, it is 1000 ~ 2000RMB / person time after tax, which can be determined separately for the internationally famous top mathematicians according to the specific situation. Reports that have not been verified and determined shall not be published or propagated in the name of Sino-Russian Mathematics Center. See Annex 2 for details of 《Report Fee Distribution》.

 

Academic Report Information Release

The center and the cooperation bases shall publicly release academic report information on their respective home pages. Among them, the center publishes "Academic Reports of Sino-Russian Mathematics Center - Academic Reports" on its home page, and the cooperation bases publish "Sino-Russian Mathematics Center & Supporting Units of Cooperation Bases – Academic Reports" on its home page. The information content includes academic report title, summary and brief introduction of the reporter. If there are confidentiality provisions, relevant provisions shall prevail.

These measures come into force upon promulgation. Sino-Russian Mathematics Center is responsible for the interpretation of these measures.
