Abstract: We will consider one-point commuting difference operators of rank one. It will be shown that rank-one commuting differential operators can be extended to one-point commuting difference operators depending on a small parameter. The spectral data for such operators are obtained by a natural extension of the classical Krichever's spectral data for commuting differential operators of rank one.
